On Performance of Energy Harvested Cooperative NOMA Under Imperfect CSI and Imperfect SIC

With the advent of 5G and need for energy-efficient massively connected wireless networks, in this work, we consider an energy harvesting (EH) based multi-relay downlink cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system with practical constraints. The base station serves NOMA users help decode-and-forward EH relays, where relays harvest from station's radio frequency. A relay is selected K-relay by using a partial selection protocol. considered to operate half-duplex mode over generalized independent identical Nakagami$-m$ fading channel. closed-form expression outage probability ergodic rate are derived users, under assumption imperfect channel state information (CSI) successive interference cancellation (SIC) at receiver node. Expression both perfect CSI SIC also presented. Further, asymptotic shown. analytical expressions verified through Monte-Carlo simulations.
